This position involves working in a dynamic cardiac unit, providing care for patients with various heart-related conditions. The role requires a travel/contract assignment with weekend shifts within a well-equipped clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PCU

• Administer and manage cardiac IV medications including nitroglycerine and amiodarone
• Monitor patients with CHF, MI, arrhythmia, and pulmonary hypertension
• Conduct bedside cardioversion procedures
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PCU

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in stepdown or progressive care settings
• Proficiency in telemetry and cardiac IV medication administration
• Willingness to float to various units as needed
