Registered Nurse - Cardiac TelemetryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry for a night shift position. This is a combined unit that requires experience in higher acuity and PCU settings. The daily patient census averages around 30. We accommodate adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses such as CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, AfiB, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure. The nurse-to-patient ratio during the night shift is typically 4:1. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty as needed. Weekends are required every other weekend. Holidays will be scheduled as required. Strong skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias are essential. Candidates must be adept at managing cardiac drips with no titration and proficient in starting and maintaining IVs.
