Senior Associate Director, Corporate Accounting

You will provide leadership and direction for activities related to corporate financial policies and procedures, consolidations, and corporate governance. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the company’s system of accounts, keeping books and records on all company transactions and assets. Oversee general accounting and control activities such as journal entries, consolidations, account analysis and reconciliation, maintenance of account structures, ensuring data integrity, and coordinating monthly closing processes. Act as primary point of contact with external auditors and coordinate the collection of all data required for audits. Keep abreast of best practices in corporate governance and internal controls, incorporating these into the company’s systems and processes as appropriate. Provide overall management and direction of staff in specific accounting functions. Make decisions regarding employment, performance appraisals, training and development, disciplinary actions, and salary adjustments. Liaise with management in other departments to understand initiatives, explore potential impacts on financial reporting and accounting, and ensure proper accounting treatment. Act as a liaison in providing required financial information in response to auditor, SEC, and IRS requests and ensuring that proper information is maintained for historical purposes. Be responsible for the overall functionality of accounting and related software. Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, systems, and internal work standards to enhance efficiency. Manage all aspects of departmental projects. Plan, implement, coordinate, and execute all phases of SOX compliance, including project scoping, leading walkthroughs, identifying and validating key controls, and reporting results to management, internal and external audit. Carry out other duties as assigned. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be open through June 15, 2026. Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on company profits.
