Manager On Premise Sales

As the Manager OnPremise Sales, you will be responsible for scouting, prospecting, and developing commercial partnerships across highpotential nontraditional channels-including casinos, hotels, resorts, bars, restaurants, cafeterias, and other onpremise environments critical to adult consumer engagement. You will lead the full commercial cycle: identifying new opportunities, opening new accounts, nurturing relationships, executing activation plans, and driving visibility and distribution of our smokefree portfolio. You will collaborate across the organization to deliver endtoend commercial solutions that drive growth, improve execution, and expand PMI's footprint in nontraditional channels.

This role requires strong hunting instincts, exceptional account management skills, deep market awareness, and the ability to execute with operational rigor. You will influence stakeholders, implement customercentric plans, and continually enhance commercial processes to maximize longterm business results.

Your 'day to day':

  • Scout, prospect, and open new nontraditional onpremise accounts (casinos, hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, etc.) to expand PMI's commercial footprint.
  • Implement customerspecific operational plans, including account prioritization, P&L modeling, and volume/value opportunity sizing to meet profit targets.
  • Develop medium to longterm sales plans that grow, protect, and diversify relationships across the onpremise ecosystem.
  • Conduct regular business reviews leveraging scorecards and KPIs; identify corrective actions and optimize execution quality.
  • Manage daytoday customer interactions, identifying upsell, crosssell, and repeatbusiness opportunities.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring bestinclass service and high customer satisfaction.
  • Translate commercial strategy into onpremise channel plans that drive sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Evaluate customer retention, competitor activity, and channel dynamics to inform strategic decisions and execution adjustments.
  • Support the development and deployment of value propositions, promotional programs, and activation platforms tailored to onpremise environments.
  • Lead the implementation of process, system, and execution improvements that elevate program performance and operational efficiency across the nontraditional channel.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery of plans and consistent execution standards.
  • Reinforce commercial best practices, anticipating communication needs and ensuring alignment with internal and external partners.
  • Leverage customer insights, location-level analytics, and channel research to shape strategies and optimize performance.
  • Apply strong problemsolving skills to anticipate issues, recommend solutions, and implement endtoend commercial improvements.
  • Track customer performance KPIs and recommend actions that strengthen ROI and longterm profitability in the onpremise segment.
Who we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, onpremise account management, hospitality sales, commercial planning, or related fields.
    • Proven expertise in account management, business development, prospecting, and relationship management in onpremise or similar channels.
    • Strong understanding of hospitality, nontraditional retail, and/or onpremise market dynamics.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence crossfunctional partners and drive operational excellence.
    • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills; ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
    • Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and communicate effectively across a matrixed organization.
    • Proficiency with CRM systems and analytical tools; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Fully authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
