Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations, assessing functional movement patterns and identifying areas of concern that may affect a patient's mobility and quality of life.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based practices and measuring progress along the way.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to promote patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery strategies, self-management techniques, and injury prevention protocols to empower long-term health.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately using our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating effective communication within the care team.
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Participate in continuing education initiatives and stay abreast of industry developments to enhance your clinical skills and maintain licensure.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors with orthopedic conditions resulting from sports injuries, accidents, degenerative diseases, and post-surgical rehabilitation. You will make a significant difference in their recovery journeys, employing your skills to help them regain mobility and reclaim their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active or eligible for a Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication capabilities to foster trust and rapport with patients and their families.
• A demonstrated passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and commitment to patient engagement and education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record systems and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Board certification in Orthopedics (OCS) is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
