The Program Assistant II assists department/Clinical Research Supervisor and/or Clinical Research Nurse in the implementation of program policies and procedures. Carries‑out special assignments or projects in addition to performing administrative responsibilities. Program Assistant positions may vary widely in the specific responsibilities performed, as much of the work is project‑based and specific to the individual department or study. Responsibilities The incumbent works with some independence and is expected to use judgment in carrying‑out duties within the framework of department/study policies and procedures and required to work on campus to support the work for this position. May perform some or all of the following responsibilities: Track and courier research samples and products, as necessary. Ordering, organizing, and assembling research kits and delivering to appropriate labs. Support specimen tracking in specimen management platform including initial set up of protocols. Assists in the implementation of department/study policies and procedures. Perform scheduling tasks and consenting for lab donors. Maintain updated policies and procedures manuals. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. Organizational skills. General office skills (i.e., typing, filing, phone skills). Word processing/computer skills. Written and oral communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's or Bachelor's degree. The hourly pay range for this position is from $25.72 to $36.62 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
