Job Skills / Requirements Job Summary/Purpose Respond rapidly to 911 calls and other emergency/non-emergency incidents. Conduct full patient assessments and initiate advanced treatment modalities. Perform life-saving procedures such as intubation, defibrillation, medication administration, EKG interpretation, and IV therapy. Manage critical care and trauma patients in coordination with EMTs, EMT-As, and other healthcare providers. Accurately document all patient care activities in accordance with legal and regulatory standards. Maintain communication with medical control and hospital personnel during transport. Ensure all equipment, ambulances, and medical supplies are operational and stocked. Engage in continuing education, quality assurance, and training activities. Role Minimum Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent Required Licensure and Certifications – At Hire Active Paramedic license issued through Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services Required Licensure and Certifications - Post Hire
