DTC & E-commerce Manager/Director, North America Location: Seattle, United States Employment Type: Full-time Reporting to: Head of North America, HQ DTC line manager The Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager to lead our North America DTC and e-commerce business across the United States and Canada. This role will: Lead an integrated DTC team of approximately 10 employees. Own approximately USD 15 million in annual business targets, including GMV, profitability, and customer growth. Manage Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other relevant channels. Drive Q4 performance through focused commercial planning and execution. Serve as the key link between the North America team and global headquarters. The ideal candidate combines commercial ownership, team leadership, analytical judgment, and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities Business and Channel Management Own annual and quarterly GMV, profitability, customer growth, and channel performance. Develop and execute commercial, promotional, and Q4 trading plans. Manage the company’s DTC website and third-party platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. Improve traffic, conversion, average order value, customer acquisition, retention, and advertising efficiency. Oversee product listings, merchandising, pricing, promotions, campaigns, and customer experience. Integrate DTC-related employees and capabilities into one team of approximately 10 people. Define team structure, responsibilities, KPIs, workflows, and decision rights. Establish regular business reviews, performance dashboards, and issue-resolution processes. Develop team capabilities and maintain a fast, accountable, results-oriented culture. Merchandise, Inventory, and Operations Lead product selection, pricing, assortment, launches, and promotional planning. Coordinate demand forecasting, inventory allocation, replenishment, fulfillment, and returns. Partner with supply chain, finance, marketing, product, customer service, and logistics teams. Identify and resolve operational, inventory, platform, and fulfillment risks. Data and Global Collaboration Establish clear performance metrics and reporting routines. Use business data to identify gaps, prioritize actions, and improve results. Communicate market insights, risks, and resource needs to global headquarters. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in DTC, e-commerce, digital commerce, or cross-border e-commerce. 3+ years managing e-commerce operations in North America. Experience leading or integrating cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience with Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, or similar platforms. Proven ownership of meaningful revenue, GMV, profitability, or customer-growth targets. Strong knowledge of North American consumers, platforms, promotions, merchandising, and fulfillment. Strong analytical, commercial, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills. Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels. Fluent business English. Preferred Qualifications Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, robotics, appliances, connected devices, or durable consumer goods. Experience managing a North America e-commerce business of comparable scale. Experience building or restructuring DTC teams. Experience working with global or Asia-based headquarters. Knowledge of CRM, lifecycle marketing, performance advertising, and customer retention. Mandarin Chinese or an MBA is a plus.
