Foundry ManagerThe Foundry Manager oversees daily foundry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards. This role leads production teams, manages scheduling, process improvements, and employee development, and works cross-functionally to achieve operational goals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 6 years of foundry manufacturing experienceStrong leadership and supervisory experienceKnowledge of foundry operations, production planning, and safety standardsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturingKnowledge of quality systems and production reportingKey ResponsibilitiesLead daily foundry operations, including melting, molding, and heat treatmentManage production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet production goalsDrive process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity initiativesSupervise, train, and develop production employees and supervisorsPartner with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and HR to support operationsMonitor production performance and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standardsPromote a safe workplace and maintain risk assessments and safe work proceduresAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
