ObGyn physician job in New York : A hospital-affiliated multi-specialty practice in Orange County, NY is actively seeking a licensed OB/GYN to help build out the division.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard businessSpecialty: Obstetrics / GynecologyPatient Population: Full Spectrum- Outpatient with inpatient on-call for deliveriesResponsibilities:Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams to screen for and diagnose various health issuesProvide comprehensive prenatal care to pregnant women, including regular check-ups, monitoring fetal development, and addressing any pregnancy-related concerns or complicationsManage and assist in the childbirth process, either through vaginal delivery or cesarean section, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and the newbornProvide postpartum care to new mothers, addressing physical and emotional recovery, as well as providing guidance on newborn care and breastfeedingDiagnose and treat a variety of reproductive health issues, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and uterine fibroidsScreen for and treat gynecological cancers, such as cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers, and refer patients for further evaluation and treatment as neededPerform surgical procedures, including minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries, for conditions like ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cysts, and fibroidsDiagnose and treat pelvic floor disorders, including incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, often using physical therapy or surgical interventionsEducate patients about their reproductive health, providing information on various medical conditions, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choicesQualifications:Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible / Certified in OB/GYNYour privacy is important to us.
