About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join a well-established outpatient endoscopy practice serving the Middletown & New Windsor, NY area.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a predictable schedule, outstanding work-life balance, and a low-acuity clinical environment. The practice focuses exclusively on outpatient endoscopic procedures with no inpatient responsibilities, no overnight call, and no complex surgical cases.

Position Highlights

• Full-time outpatient position

• Practice locations in Middletown & New Windsor, NY

• Assigned to a single location each workday with no travel between sites during the day

• Monday through Friday outpatient schedule

• No overnight call

• No inpatient coverage

• Routine low-risk outpatient endoscopy cases including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies

• Low-acuity patient population (ASA I & II)

• Collaborative environment with experienced physicians, nurses, and endoscopy staff

• Responsibilities include pre-procedure evaluations, anesthesia management, post-procedure recovery oversight, documentation, and participation in quality initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Completed Residency in Anesthesiology

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• Active unrestricted state medical license

• Active DEA registration

• Current BLS & ACLS certifications

• Experience providing MAC/Sedation anesthesia in an Endoscopy or Ambulatory Surgery setting preferred
