About the Position

• Full time Gynecology Physician opportunity in Goshen, NY
• Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologist
• Minimum 5 years of clinical & surgical experience
• Comprehensive women's health services with outpatient & surgical care
• Focus on conventional open & laparoscopic, non robotic gynecologic surgery
• Opportunity to manage a broad range of benign gynecologic conditions
• Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery is a plus

• Provide routine & specialized gynecologic care
• Perform annual exams & contraceptive counseling
• Diagnose & manage fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding & menopause related conditions
• Order & interpret ultrasounds, biopsies, Pap smears & other diagnostic testing
• Perform open & conventional laparoscopic procedures
• Perform hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy & oophorectomy
• Perform D&C, endometrial ablation & tubal ligation
• Perform pelvic floor repair & prolapse surgery
• Perform LEEP & cone biopsy procedures
• Provide pre operative assessment & informed consent counseling
• Provide post operative follow up & manage surgical complications
• Coordinate care with anesthesia, nursing & surgical teams
• Participate in on call rotation as required

• Scheduled surgical cases
• Periodic on call responsibilities
• Surgical scheduling based on clinical needs

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology
• Active & unrestricted New York medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Minimum 5 years of practicing Gynecology experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in open & conventional laparoscopic surgery
• Experience managing a broad range of benign gynecologic conditions
• Surgical oncology experience is a plus
• Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery preferred
• Bilingual candidates are a plus
