Along with buying and selling energy commodities at the wholesale level, UGIES owns and operates key midstream natural gas assets.We offer comprehensive benefits, some of which are:Paid Vacation time starts with 3 weeks off9 Paid HolidaysMedical plan, prescription, dental, vision, life insurancePaid parental and volunteer time401(k) matched savings planTuition Reimbursement Position SummarySets the direction for the Large Customer Program Operations team, identifying opportunities and risks and developing processes that support superior execution.Builds a team of experts who own the company's large, daily-metered customer programs, from LDC tariff and imbalance mechanics through usage forecasting, pool balancing, and the pricing inputs that depend on them.Essential FunctionsAct as subject matter expert on the tariff and delivery rules governing large, daily-metered customer pools, including each LDC's imbalance tolerance mechanics and reconciliation requirements.Serve as the escalation point for volume discrepancies, forecasting misses, pricing-impacting issues, and pool imbalance disputes that affect the team's execution.Own monthly price setting for WACOG and GDD customers, keeping prices accurate and aligned with contract language and current market and delivery conditions.Oversee the team that balances daily-metered pools and enters, validates, and reconciles customer usage and volume data across the retail book.Provide short- and long-term forecasting of all volumetric customer data, including usage and normalized volumes across all pools, and raise awareness of volumetric risks across departments.Oversee the process for communicating directly with customers about planned operations or outages.Oversee forecasting of imbalance scenarios and manage imbalances that accumulate between delivered volumes and customer usage.Partner with the Trading manager on daily-metered pool optimization strategy for both cash and forward-looking positions.Set direction for managing facility-level normalization data in nGenue, developing models and regularly validating values for accuracy.Develop processes that reduce usage issues affecting customer invoice accuracy and timeliness.Set direction and build workflows for how volumetric data is reviewed, updated, and reported internally and externally.Help the team develop tools and metrics that give a comprehensive snapshot of volume performance across the retail business.Independently identify and drive process and technology improvements that reduce manual effort and risk in volume validation, forecasting, and reporting.Coach, develop, and hold Analysts accountable to high standards of accuracy and ownership, with regular performance feedback and career development support.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesTakes full accountability for the team's output and outcomes, including when things go wrong.Treats deadlines, exceptions, and escalations seriously and doesn't let issues sit.Understands how usage and volume accuracy affect Trading positions, customer billing, and financial forecasting, and manages with that downstream impact in mind.Builds authentic working relationships with other groups' leaders and works cooperatively rather than in a silo.Holds the team to a high, consistent standard and addresses performance gaps directly.Finds innovative ways to get the work done with the available people and resources.Brings ideas and solutions rather than just surfacing problems, and actively drives strategy and new ways of working.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: 5 years.Organizational ContextDirect reports: 3–5 (TBD).Working ConditionsWork environment: Office.UGI Energy Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
