We are seeking a versatile finance leader who pairs hands-on accounting rigor with strategic FP&A capabilities . This individual should possess a "COO mentality" and s omeone who looks beyond the ledger to streamline operations, manage strict SOX controls , and run the financial health of the business like an owner. This role blends the technical mastery of a plant controllership with the analytical foresight needed to manage complex project financial structures.

The Director of FP&A will lead the accounting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis for the field services division of a global industrial manufacturing organization located in Berks County, PA.

In this strategic leadership role, you will partner closely with operations and senior management to oversee the financial closing process, drive forecast accuracy, analyze profitability, and enable data-driven decision-making to optimize business outcomes.

• Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting for multiple service lines.
  
• Operational Partnership: Partner with project managers and operations teams to analyze financial results, improve project performance, and reduce volatility.
  
• Internal Controls: Maintain a robust internal control environment in alignment with corporate financial standards.
  
• Strategic Leadership: Deliver actionable insights and present internal financial reports to senior leadership to drive profitability.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
  
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
  
• Expertise in POC accounting (ASC 606), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Power BI. Cost accounting is a plus.
  
• Advanced analytical forecasting, process improvement, change management, and a strong ability to influence operational stakeholders.
