Solutions Architecture & Sales Engineering - Palantir
Aleut Federal is seeking a senior, market-facing technical leader specializing in Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham to drive data platform solutions across U.S. federal environments.
This role operates across the full lifecycle - from opportunity shaping and technical solutioning through capture, proposal development, pricing, and post-award delivery assurance. The successful candidate will directly influence technical win strategies while maintaining accountability for execution fidelity in mission environments.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Palantir practitioner who can architect data-driven solutions, integrate complex data environments, and translate platform capabilities into operational and mission outcomes.
This is a build, sell, and validate role requiring both platform depth and growth accountability.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead technical solutioning for federal opportunities involving Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham, data integration across structured and unstructured sources, and operational analytics and mission workflows.
- Directly influence and help drive technical wins by defining platform-based discriminators, leading demos and whiteboarding sessions, and translating data platform capabilities into decision advantage and mission outcomes.
- Partner with Business Development and Capture teams to shape opportunities pre-RFP and present and defend technical approaches in client and mission-facing environments.
- Design and implement AI-enabled data solutions within Palantir environments, including predictive analytics, decision support, data-driven automation, and LLM-enabled workflows where appropriate.
- Support orchestration of multi-step analytical workflows leveraging AI and integrate AI-driven decision support within operational platforms.
- Required: experience applying AI/ML within data platforms or analytics environments. Strongly preferred for Senior Principal: delivery of AI-enabled data solutions in production environments with measurable mission impact.
- Ensure AI implementations align with federal requirements for security, data protection, transparency, and auditability.
- Lead and contribute to technical proposal development for Palantir-based opportunities.
- Author and own complete technical sections, including data architecture, ontology and data model approach, platform implementation, and integration strategy.
- Build BOEs aligned to data engineering effort, platform implementation scope, and integration complexity.
- Ensure solutions are executable, cost-aligned, and differentiated.
- Ensure alignment between proposed Palantir solutions and delivered implementations.
- Provide technical oversight during data onboarding, integration, configuration, and deployment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, performance, scalability, security, and access control.
- Develop Palantir- and data-platform-focused solution briefs, capability messaging, and mission use cases.
- Actively participate in industry events, client briefings, and technical forums and be willing to speak credibly about mission outcomes enabled by Palantir-based solutions.
- Position Aleut Federal as a credible Palantir and data platform integrator.
- U.S. Citizenship (U.S. Citizens only).
- 7+ years of U.S. federal experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Recent, hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Palantir solutions and integrating complex data environments.
- Experience supporting technical solutioning, capture, and proposal development.
- Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust.
- Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal civilian data programs.
- Experience integrating Palantir with cloud-native data platforms.
- Experience implementing AI/ML within data platforms.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Palantir Foundry certification (if available)
- AWS Data Analytics Specialty
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Databricks or equivalent data platform certification
- Platform-specific (Palantir)

Salary Range: $150,000-$225,000
