Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:

This position will be in support of our launch team and will be responsible for IE work.

Experience with Time Studies and Ergonomics from School or job experience is required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in establishing operational methods and work standards using various measurement techniques

Provides information for various management systems

Record and analyze information on specific problems assigned in the utilization of personnel, material, machines and facilities

Work well with various engineering disciplines, floor and shop personnel and outside suppliers, must be able to "sell their ideas to the union"

Confirms or recommends changes to layouts, labor control and/or material control

Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives

Must support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals

Supports/implements the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes.

Bachelors in Industrial Engineering

Years of Experience:

Seeking 1-2+ years of Industrial Engineering experience

Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally

Good written and oral communication skills

This is a Contract position based out of KANSAS CITY, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
