Job Description
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Women's Care-Roanoke Rapids are seeking a BE/BC OBGYN to join a new Women's Care practice located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina . Experienced applicants are preferred. New graduates will be considered. Roanoke Rapids offers an excellent work-life balance with the ability to live on Lake Gaston, a 20,000 acre lake perfect for fishing and boating. Highlights include:
• Employment by ECU Health Physicians
• Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
• Privileges at ECU Health North Hospital
• Opportunity available due expansion of women's health services
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
• Shared call
• Approximately 450 deliveries per year
• Advanced practice provider and midwife support (expectation of the selected candidate is to work collaboratively with Certified Nurse Midwives)
• Strong support by and connectivity to the ECU Health Women's Service Line at ECU Health Medical Center and ECU Health's Maynard Children's Hospital located in Greenville, NC
• Conveniently located on Interstate 95 -1 ½ hours from Richmond, Virginia and 1 ½ hours from the Research Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill)
