Vice President of Product Development and Innovation
This Vice President of Product Development and Innovation will be part of the DoorDash Co-Brand program. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive plan for the DoorDash co-branded card program across three key areas:
Driving ideation and strategy for product launches or benefit refreshes
Understanding the market landscape to identify opportunities to best differentiate our products from competitors
Developing new capabilities to drive usability, engagement and cardmember satisfaction
It will require strong collaboration across different cross functional teams including the Co-Brand Product and Go-to-Market team, Tech, Operations, Finance, Controls, Legal, Compliance and the Partner (DoorDash). This role sits within the Partner Card organization of Card Services, a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking group.
Job Responsibilities
Leverage consumer insights to drive new products and/or new product benefits, and messaging and positioning of new products or features
Define go-to market strategy for new product or benefit launches
Bring together key stakeholders to optimize benefits delivery and identify ways to amplify those efforts
Develop a strong working relationship with DoorDash and achieve goal alignment
Plan and deliver against financial, customer experience, operational and control goals
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
7+ years of marketing background with focus on product development, strategy and/or marketing research
Ability to negotiate with external and internal constituents to drive consensus
Strong time management and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple complex initiatives concurrently
Strong control mindset and understanding of internal processes, procedures, and systems
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Think strategically with ability to identify business opportunities and manage to P&L objectives
Communicate effectively and be able to influence decisions
Be results-oriented with attention to detail and bias towards action
Be highly collaborative with solid project management skills
