Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,922–$2,004 per week Contract duration: 4 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12) Start date: 07/16/2026 Location: Plattsburgh, NY Facility type: hospital (341 beds) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal through adult patients per physician orders, including ventilator management on devices such as Puritan Bennett 980/840 and LTV1200 Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, CPT, aerosol treatments) and monitor patient response; perform ABG collection and interpretation as needed Document all care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and participate in daily rounds with the multidisciplinary team Respond to respiratory distress, facilitate weaning and escalation of therapy as directed; participate in nursery and ER coverage as needed Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and department policy; maintain equipment readiness and perform routine ventilator checks Requirements Active Respiratory Therapy license in New York; license on file at time of submission Minimum 2 years of RT experience; 2 years of experience in the specialty Neonatal/pediatric exposure; NRP required or demonstrated familiarity EPIC experience within the past 2 years required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; NBRC Verification Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with department rotation; willingness to float to nursery and ER as needed Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Nationwide assignments Fast credentialing Extension opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
