Location 1717 S Union Ave,Tacoma, WA, 98405-1997,United States Base Pay $27.00 - $32.00 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Required Degree 2 Year Degree Manage Others No Description TITLE: Executive Assistant to COO and DDR (Chief Operating Officer and Director of Donor Relations) CAMPUS: Central STATUS: Full Time CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: COO and DDR PAY RANGE: $27.00 - $32.00/hour Summary/Objective The Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director of Donor Relations (DDR) provides high-level administrative support, with minimal supervision for both Executives. Supervisory Responsibility This role does not have a supervisory component. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of executive travel, including itineraries, accommodations, transportation, reservations, and meeting logistics. Maintain and administer organizational policies, procedures, and process documentation, ensuring current versions are accessible and consistently applied. Support strategic planning initiatives, performance dashboards, and organizational reporting. Conducts basic research on issues that may influence Organization policies, procedures, and processes. Suggests policies, procedures, and processes that will improve day-to-day operations. Supports Master Planning Process and Oversees Departmental Playbooks. Maintain executive reference materials and handbooks, ensuring content remains current and aligned with organizational practices. Collaborate with relevant ministries/departments to monitor compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing, safety, health, zoning, and building requirements. Prepare executive and board reports, including monthly Board meeting materials. Participates in regular rotation of Welcome Center desk and unexpected vacancy coverage. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Demonstrates ethical practice, professionalism, and confidentiality. Comfortable with public speaking, teaching, and praying in ministry settings. Models a growing walk with Jesus and alignment with Life Center’s mission and theology. Faithfully supports Life Center with time, talent, and treasure. Supervises volunteers or small teams effectively. Adapts to change with flexibility and composure. Lifelong learner; seeks professional and spiritual development. Proficient in ministry systems and digital tools (CCB, LEADR, PCO, HRIS, Microsoft 365, etc.) to coordinate and track outcomes. Embodies the staff attributes as listed in the Little Book of Life Center. Proficient with or the ability to quickly become proficient with HCM. Proficient with or the ability to quickly become proficient with organization’s people development software. Basic knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations (can be acquired via OTJT). Compliant with Life Center’s Policies and Practices, including but not limited to Employee Handbook and Safety Manual. Requirements Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure Must have 5 years of related experience or equivalent with combined training and experience. Work Environment and Travel This job operates in a professional office and ministry environment. This role routinely interacts with staff, volunteers, and guests. The primary campus location for this role: Central Local travel may be required occasionally for All Staff Meetings. Hours and Schedule Full time: 40 hours per week, which includes: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm during office hour operations. Requires occasional evening and weekend work pertaining to ministry’s needs and events as scheduled in advance. Attendance at the following staff meetings is required for this role: Annual Reset, Annual Meeting, All Staff Trainings, recurring meetings as required, and additional meetings as requested.
