Speech Therapist - Home Health
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Work Location: 4041 MacArthur Blvd, Suite 100, Newport Beach, CA 92660
Pay Rate: $80.00 per hour
Assignment: LOA Coverage – Initial 13-week assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Home Health / Geriatric Patient Care
The Speech Therapist will pick up equipment from the facility in Newport Beach, CA
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home health speech therapy services to geriatric patients in the Newport Beach, CA area.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients for speech-related therapy needs.
- Review medical history and apply appropriate screening tests.
- Determine clinical needs, impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
- Establish treatment goals and develop individualized speech pathology treatment programs.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of California.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Home health experience required.
- Home bedside swallow experience required.
- Experience with geriatric patients required.
