Parkland Health is seeking a Coding Specialist II for a 100% virtual role. The candidate will code and verify charge data across ED, SDS, OPC, OBS, and inpatient OB/newborn encounters, ensuring accuracy and proper reimbursement. Required: AHIMA/AAPC credentials and at least two years of acute care coding experience, with strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT/HCPCS, E/M and HEDIS CAT II.
