Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse Oncology

Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
• Acute care experience must be current and in the specialty applied for.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Required certification: BCLS.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients receiving chemotherapy and symptom management.
• Monitor patients' continuous cardiac rhythm and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and chemotherapy as prescribed, following safety protocols.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including arterial line management and blood product administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care management.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care protocols.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 72 hours.
• Urgent requirement for background checks, including Ohio fingerprinting, which must be completed as soon as the contract is signed.
• Valid RN licensing required in hand at the time of submission.
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
• RTO required with submission and must be built into the contract.
• Parking options available for agency staff.
