Description

• Deliver focused, one-on-one therapeutic interventions addressing critical areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and caregivers, ensuring a unified approach to patient care.
• Facilitate educational opportunities for patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical interactions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring seamless continuity of care for every patient.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that adheres to relevant standards and organizational protocols.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the field through active participation in continuing education and collaborative discussions.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
