Interior Design Assistant

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Create construction drawing sets for residential interior design projects using Chief Architect.
• Develop detailed drawings for kitchens, bathrooms, interior spaces, furniture layouts, lighting plans, and schedules.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings using project materials, furnishings, and AI-assisted rendering tools when applicable.
• Assemble client presentation materials and construction documentation for contractors.
• Assist with project estimating, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
• Prepare and organize project documentation throughout the design process.
• Coordinate design information and maintain project files.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure project accuracy and timely completion.
• Support cabinetry design and detailing when required.
• Communicate design concepts clearly through technical drawings and presentations.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Previous experience in interior design or a related field required.
• Experience with residential interior design preferred.
• Proficiency in Chief Architect Software required.
• Experience creating construction drawings and drafting interior spaces required.
• Experience with cabinetry design preferred.
• AI-assisted rendering experience preferred.
• Strong drafting and visualization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
