Operations Specialist

Caramel is a well-funded and venture-backed auto tech company founded in 2021. We're

growing quickly and have partnerships live and launching with some of the largest names in

automotive. That means opportunities abound. We hire talented, driven people and enable

workplace headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

Position Summary:

As an DMV Operations Assistant, you will be a member of the title & registration team, with

responsibilities including:

• Having 50 state DMV knowledge related to title and registration processing adhering to

• multi-state compliance

• Understanding and following all work rules and procedures and following lawful

• directions from Supervisors

• Maintaining and influencing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure

• consistency and efficiency

• Upholding the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

• Experience with DMV operations within the automotive industry

• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer software

• Effective communication skills via any means with individuals of any level internally and

• externally

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Great teammate and listener

• Strong consultative skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to efficiently work from a home office environment

• Knowledge of automobile terminology and purchase and sale documentation

Physical Requirements:

General office (including home office) environment requiring ability to:

● Sit for extended periods of time

● Clearly speak and listen to others in person, via computerized virtual meetings and over the

phone

● Type using a keyboard and read from computer screen and reports

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
