We are actively seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Assistant Vice President, Financial Systems. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial part in re-envisioning our infrastructure, crafting a robust platform for expedited reporting and enhanced analytical capabilities. This team is integral to supporting our global finance organization in minimizing costs and cycle times while empowering finance with the insights necessary to implement best practices and applications. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining the Workday ecosystem (including Workday Finance, Adaptive, Prism, Extend, etc.), creating complex financial reports, and developing custom applications. You will collaborate with the Finance Transformation team to understand business and functional requirements, fostering the development of solutions that achieve desired outcomes. In this role, you will also support finance's aim to deliver high-quality and accurate information to our customers, shareholders, and regulators through innovative technology solutions. Essential Job Functions Work closely with finance and accounting teams, ensuring the effective delivery of technology solutions while adhering to IT policies and guidelines. Identify, design, and implement AI-driven opportunities to enhance process efficiencies. Assess investment opportunities for new capabilities, weighing stakeholder inputs against costs and implementation efforts. Establish metrics to evaluate system effectiveness in terms of user productivity and operational costs. Collaborate with various business segment leads to address issues identified during validation processes. Support system initiatives, ensuring alignment on requirements and budget expectations. Document scope, business requirements, and relevant materials to support research, design, and reporting procedures. Provide training to users on current tools and systems. Analyze data workflows between internal systems and Workday, advocating for alignment with system owners. Oversee system integrations, maintaining and developing them as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. At least 6 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a Senior Associate role or equivalent. Technical expertise in Workday, including knowledge of business processes, calculations, custom validations, security, and reporting. Experience supporting a global organization is essential. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with management and teams across all levels. Ability to work within distributed teams, engaging with international colleagues. Professional demeanor with a focus on innovation and collaboration. Excellent organizational and writing skills. Comfortable in a remote work environment. Adept in organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and team inputs. Strategic thinker with the capability to set a clear direction. Experience in IT support for organizations of comparable size is preferred. Familiar with financial processes and able to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including Finance, Controllership, Tax, P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, and IT. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be based on candidates' qualifications and market alignment. Additionally, eligible positions may earn a discretionary bonus based on company guidelines.
