Overview: Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomy to work part time days in the central testing lab! (0900-1300) As a clinical lab assistant-phlebotomy duties are to perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing. Responsible for registration and test data entry. Monitors supply levels. Education High School Grad or Equivalent (required) Phlebotomy course (preferred) Certification/Licensure Phlebotomy certification (Preferred) BLS required within 60 days of hire Experience 1 year of experience Keyword: laboratory services; phlebotomy, Monster, Talroo-Allied Health, phlebotomist

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.88 - $29.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
