Medical Assistant (Certified Phlebotomist) – Bilingual Spanish

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional patient care to the Senior Population, while supporting providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, processing, and lab coordination
• Obtain and document vital signs accurately in the EMR
• Perform EKGs, fingerstick glucose testing, INR testing, and other routine clinical procedures
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain infection control standards
• Assist providers during patient exams and procedures
• Help coordinate follow-up appointments, lab work, and patient transportation
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist required
• EKG experience required
• At least 1 year of venipuncture experience (geriatric experience preferred)
• Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
