About the Position

Mammography Technologist needed for a 26-week contract in La Mesa, CA. The position is part of the San Diego Service Area and involves screening and diagnostic mammography.

Schedule includes two 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday and 12-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday from approximately 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM at La Mesa and Otay Mesa locations. The technologist will float to San Diego-area mammography facilities as needed.

Weekly Gross Pay: $3,550
W2 Regular Rate: $26.05/hour
W2 OT Rate: $39.08/hour
Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,042
Weekly Non-Taxable Per Diem: $2,508

Requirements

- Active California Mammography License required
- ARRT (M) certification required
- Minimum 200 mammography studies within the last 2 years
- Minimum 15 CEUs in breast imaging within the last 3 years
- Proof of completion of a formal Mammography education program
- Screening mammography experience required
- Diagnostic mammography experience required
- Stereotactic experience preferred
- Needle Localization experience preferred
- Must be willing to float to San Diego-area facilities
- Must be available for the required weekend schedule
- Must be comfortable working at La Mesa, Otay Mesa, and other Central/South/East San Diego mammography locations
