Production Lead - Packout

NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.POSITION SUMMARY:The Production Lead is responsible for directing, leading, and managing a team of Dryers, Washroom Attendants and Load Builders in Company policies and procedures.KEY RESPONSIILITIES:Leads, direct and trains assigned production team of team members in the performance of their assigned duties.Motivates and ensures the team is meeting departmental goals and objectives, including maintaining high quality, safety, and productivity standards.Participates in the interview process and make hiring recommendations.Maintain personnel record for reports, time sheets, and attendance.Build strong relationships with other department leaders and associates. Interact with other supervisors to establish maximum utilization of resources and to improve efficiency.Implement processes that improve key performance indicators (i.e., quality, safety, cycle time).Provide feedback to Plant Supervisor and Business Manager on ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process.Develop, maintain, and enforce written procedures that support department functions and conduct corresponding training.Proactively monitor the production process and adjust schedules as needed.Carry out special assignments as requested or assigned.Continuously follows all safety policies and procedures on the job.Understand, observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.Assist and perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED:High School Diploma required.3 to 5 years supervisory experience.Ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 30 pounds.Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.Demonstrated customer service, people, leadership, and organization skills with track record of achieving positive business results.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.PREFERRED:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusionsAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.Provide appropriate coaching/counseling to associates to improve performance.What we can offer you as a full-time associate:Competitive payPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off Program (PTO)401(k) w/Employer MatchFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Medical, Dental, and Vision ProgramsBasic Life/AD&D InsuranceLong-Term Disability (LTD)Why work for Novo Health Services?NOVO Health Services strives to be the employer of choice in the hospital sterile and hygienically clean linen industry.
