Workday Senior Technology ManagerRaleigh, NCA large enterprise organization based in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Workday Technology Manager to lead a team of HR technology specialists and own the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, Integrations, and Extend solutions. This role combines hands-on technical depth with people leadership, requiring someone who can both set direction for the team and engage directly with complex configurations, integrations, and reporting architecture. The position partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance, and serves as the primary subject matter expert for Workday technology across the organization.Schedule Full-time. Salary range and bonus eligibility to be confirmed with the hiring team before posting.What You'll DoAs Workday Technology Manager, you will lead the HRIS technology team responsible for all Workday technical workstreams, including reporting and analytics, integrations, and Extend application development. You will set governance standards across these areas, manage demand intake through ServiceNow, and own prioritization and delivery timelines to ensure the team meets quality standards and business commitments. Communicating project status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders will be a regular part of the role.You will lead the scoping, design, and delivery of Workday Extend solutions when new HR business use cases are identified, and you will support Workday release cycles including impact assessment, testing coordination, and rollout planning. Beyond delivery, you will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, responding to both planned initiatives and ad hoc requests. Partnering with HR and Payroll on security roles, shared system integrations, and data governance will be an ongoing responsibility.You will also drive process improvement across HR technology and operations, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
