Speech and Language Pathologist - Midlothian, VA

What we're seeking:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state SLP license and active ASHA CCCs (Clinical Certificate of Competence), or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds are also welcome
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
• Compassion and commitment to supporting diverse learners

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose communication and language disorders
• Deliver therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Develop, document, and update IEPs based on students' progress
• Provide education and training to staff and families to support carryover of strategies
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and program-specific requirements
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current in best practices
