Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description: Oncology/Chemo experience required. Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required. Floating is required throughout the Oncology department as needed and will be floated to unit with greatest needed per shift. Will not always be working specifically on 9800 unit. Ratio- 4:1 for all shifts. Avg. Daily Census: 30. Beds/Rooms: 32. Every other weekend required. Auto stem cell transplants. Chemotherapy administration. ONS/ONCC, ACLS, BCLS required. Chemo cert required. 1 year experience required.

Will accept first time travelers. Required Skills: Oncology experience required, Administration of chemotherapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antibiotics, Antiemetics, Foley catheter insertion/management, Isolation Precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring.

If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.

#Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO: Max of 7 days of RTO (7+ days requires manager approval, along with any holiday RTO). No new RTO after submission. No RTO allowed the first week of an assignment.

License Information: MO: Submit without license OK; requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state). IL: License in hand required at time of submittal. Compact: Must match permanent residence otherwise submit for update + confirm ETA.

Radius/Local Rules: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius. No local travelers allowed, except for Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants.

Tenure Policy / Returning Staff and Tenure Policy (excluding Interim Leadership and RNFA roles): 18 months with a 3-month break in service required. Permanent employees (across BJC and/or Saint Lukes) must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

Floating: All travelers will float within service line.

Contract Details: Confirm shift in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12, etc.). Please note, contract length is firm.

Booking Rules: BJC does not permit contractors to sign a contract and subsequently cancel it in order to accept another BJC assignment. Contractors are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreement in full. Mid-contract cancellations for the purpose of booking a different BJC assignment are not allowed. If a contract is canceled at the contractor s discretion, they must complete an assignment elsewhere before being considered for a new BJC opportunity.

Compliance Deadlines/Requirements : Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Monday of the week before initial start date. Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions Certifications: For Barnes-Jewish Hospital location only: ACLS Required All RNs (except Behavioral Health, Case Manager & Outpatient) are required
