A unique opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding contract assignment covering a maternity leave. Bring your expertise to elementary-aged students across two welcoming school communities during the upcoming academic year. This full-time, school-based position offers the chance to make a positive impact over a clearly defined period, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 children in an engaging and collaborative educational environment.

Desired qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in South Carolina
• Prior experience supporting pediatric populations or in school-based settings is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and other service professionals
• Flexibility and adaptability to support evolving student needs

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapeutic interventions and individualized support to students at the elementary level
• Develop and implement IEP goals, maintain detailed documentation, and communicate progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and consultation with staff and families
• Advocate for accommodations and adaptations that enable student participation and success in the school environment
• Organize schedules to meet the needs of multiple sites while maintaining high-quality service delivery
