What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, overseeing diagnostic requirements, and creating personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, reflecting your level of credentialing
• Educating patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Illinois
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the capability to obtain them within 90 days
