A well-established, team-minded regional law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate to join a dynamic team in their Uniondale office. With 0-6 years of experience, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in their sophisticated commercial litigation practice.

Theircommercial litigation team is renowned for resolving complex disputes for leading corporations. They defend clients in matters involving federal and state statutes, as well as general principles of contract and business law. Their expertise spans partnership and shareholder disputes, restrictive covenants, breach of contract claims, business torts, antitrust issues, unfair competition, and trade secret misappropriation.

The team's unique strength lies in their diverse background, including former prosecutors and judicial law clerks, providing invaluable insights into the judicial system. They pride ourselves on their collaborative approach, working closely with clients to achieve their short- and long-term goals through pre-litigation counseling, alternative dispute resolution, trials, and appeals.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with partners on all aspects of commercial litigation
- Handle e-discovery processes
- Draft pleadings and motions
- Assist in case strategy development and execution
- Participate in client meetings and court appearances
- Conduct legal research and analysis

Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 4-8 years of litigation experience
- Excellent time management and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-discovery, pleadings, and motion drafting
- Familiarity with commercial litigation practices and procedures
- Strong academic background
