QA Test Lead

QA Test Lead With our clients shift to vertically-aligned technical product teams, we have a need for QA Test Leads who can work closely with our development teams who are mostly St. Louis based and via nearshore in Apex’s Mexico Delivery Center. We are specifically looking for QA Leads who can work independently and occasionally wear multiple hats, if called upon, to best drive QA best practices and supplement our team’s strengths. QA Test Leads will guide a team responsible for creating test plans and testing each story per the acceptance criteria. You will collaborate across scrum teams. QA Leads may attend agile ceremony meetings working closely with the scrum master and product owner to ensure testing is on track. When deploying code to higher environments, team is responsible for testing our stories in the higher environments. Lead manual and automation testing efforts in lower environments. Experience in WebdriverIO, Sauce Labs, and JavaScript. Or similar low-code products for continuous testing for desktop browsers. Jira used for defect management. Experience with a test case management tool. Understanding of single page applications is a plus. Knowledge of Chrome Dev Tools a plus. Knowledge of Cypress, Mocha, or Cucumber a plus. Create detailed test plans and test cases. The skills and experience necessary for this analyst role include: excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and consultative skills, clear facilitation skills, analytical thinking and problem solving, being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy, and organizational skills. Proficient in Postman. Proficient in API/UI testing at every stage of development. Nice to have telecom experience and ordering experience. Required skills: 3+ years of test lead experience; leading QA best practices/standards JavaScript based testing framework (Cypress, Mocha, Chai, Selenium, Jasmine or other similar) Jira & ALM is a must have. Remote during contract (6 months) - must be willing to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (hybrid schedule) once converted with the end client. Candidate must be your W2 employee.
