Description - Your Role in This Journey

• Carry out both routinely performed and advanced clinical laboratory analyses, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, following established protocols diligently.
• Ensure the accuracy of results through thorough analysis, demonstrate problem-solving skills by troubleshooting errors, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and actively support the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification current for the duration of your employment.
