Admissions Coordinator

To support a growing behavioral healthcare organization, the part-time hourly Admissions Coordinator will engage with prospective clients and referral partners remotely, guiding them through the admissions process, conducting screenings, and educating them about PHP and IOP programs while ensuring a high-quality client experience. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients and referring providers, managing high call volumes and multiple cases Conduct structured screenings to gather relevant information, educate clients about services, and address barriers to care Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, explaining coverage and payment expectations to clients Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in health, human services, psychology, or a related field 2-3+ years of experience in a high-volume healthcare or behavioral health intake environment Working knowledge of insurance coverage and the ability to verify eligibility and benefits Experience interacting with individuals in emotionally sensitive or high-pressure situations Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active cases and competing priorities
