A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants to join its resident care team. The organization provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care in a close-knit community setting where residents and staff know each other by name. Full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are available across all shifts. Core Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility with dignity and respect
• Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output accurately
• Help residents at mealtimes and monitor nutrition and hydration
• Reposition and transfer residents safely using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
• Observe and promptly report changes in condition, skin integrity, behavior, or mood to the nurse
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record each shift
• Support short-term rehab residents in meeting their therapy and mobility goals
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and free of hazards
• Follow infection control, fall prevention, and resident rights policies
• Communicate warmly with families and escalate concerns appropriately
• Take part in shift reports, care plan huddles, and ongoing training
• Help residents take part in activities and daily routines that support their quality of life
• Welcome and orient new admissions and help them settle in comfortably

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio STNA certification in good standing on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry
• Current BLS or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Six months or more of long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred; new STNAs are welcome to apply
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate care
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work some weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Basic computer skills for electronic charting, or willingness to learn

Benefits & Pay
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience and schedule.
