Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a teaching hospital assignment requiring 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience and a FL or compact RN license.Details\n \n Cath Lab unit within a short-term acute care teaching hospital\n Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM\n On-call requirement of approximately 9 shifts within a 5-week period\n Floating within scope required to meet facility needs\n Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures for adult patients\n Includes left and right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring\n Uses Epic charting system\n Requirements\n \n Active FL or compact RN license required\n BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal\n NIHSS certification required prior to start date\n 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience required, preferably within the last 3 years\n 2 years of experience preferred\n EP and Vascular experience preferred\n Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias\n One professional reference from a direct supervisor, ANM, or director in the applicable specialty required\n Additional Information\n \n Ceil Blue scrub color required\n Time-sensitive orientation modules must be completed promptly once assignment is confirmed\n EKG and pharmacology testing required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each and no remediation\n Smoke-free facility requiring all travelers to be nicotine-free with negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test\n COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only\n Holiday coverage required on an every-other-holiday rotation\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate\n All requested time off must be submitted and discussed at time of application\n Permanent staff cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-748063.
