How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within the transplant program.
• Develop and coordinate the activities of the transplant program in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care, clinical standards, policies and procedures.
• Devise and document care plans and therapy programs, ensuring that care plans are implemented as indicated and resources and equipment are obtained as ordered.
• Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care in all phases of transplantation and/or throughout the course of treatment.
• Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
