Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, providing flexibility while ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive care from the comfort of their own spaces. As part of a detox center, you will leverage teletherapy tools to communicate with patients effectively and monitor their ongoing progress. A typical workweek involves a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaborate in formulating personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among clients facing similar challenges.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily supporting individuals dealing with substance use disorders, as well as patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, major depressive disorder, and bipolar disorder. Our clients are often in the early stages of recovery or in transition between levels of care, making it imperative for our counselors to provide compassionate and effective support.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
