Positions:

Salary/Hourly Wage:

• Up to $23.00/hr

  • based on experience (not position)

Training & Onboarding:

• Orientations: Mondays at Corporate Office

• Training: Tuesday–Wednesday

• Onsite shift training: Thursday–Friday with PCCs or MAs

Scheduling Expectations

• Employees must submit their availability/schedule at least 30 days in advance for proper scheduling by site managers.

 Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time available

• 12 hour shifts weekdays, 10 hour shifts weekends

• Flexible scheduling up to 40 hours/week (at discretion of site manager – candidate must submit monthly availability).

• 12-hour shifts include:

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch

  • 1 paid 15-minute break

  • 1 paid 20-minute break

Medical Assistant Job Description:

• Assist physicians and/or advanced practitioners in patient diagnosis by performing patient intake, specimen collection, and other lab and testing services.
• Obtain patient vitals, physical stats, and medical history for each patient visit using their EMR System (WOWs – Workstation on Wheels).
• Perform phlebotomy and EKG as needed.
• Promote operational efficiency and patient satisfaction through execution of clinical and administrative duties. Collaborate with clinical team members to provide the highest quality of patient care possible.

MA Requirements:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Heart Association (NHA)

• Completion of Clinical Externship
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flu Vaccine, Proof of Covid Vaccination Card, and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of one (1) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in urgent care.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and diplomacy skills – team player who takes initiative and maintains a professional demeanor across all interactions.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining a high level of organization.
• Strong knowledge of all technical skills associated with certification and job function.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple managers and key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish, Bengali, Arabic, Creole, French, or Hindi, a plus

Patient Care Coordinator Job Description:

• Greeting & guiding patients
• Addressing phone calls
• Registering patients in our electronic medical records system
• Scanning & updating electronic medical records
• Processing & verifying insurance coverage / collecting patient responsibility
• Explaining ModernMD’s services & processing, addressing questions as needed
• Performing follow up calls, as assigned

PCC Requirements:

• 6 months – 1 year working in a front desk role in a healthcare setting

• Proficiency working with EMR/EHR (Epic & eCW)

• Experience with insurance verification

• High School Diploma or GED required
