Customer Service Representative – Veterinary Clinic
Mountain View Animal Hospital – Essex Junction, VT
Are you a people person with a love for pets? Mountain View Animal Hospital is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our friendly, dedicated team. Our CSRs are the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional experience for both pets and their people.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out
- Answer phones and emails promptly and professionally
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient records
- Process payments and prepare invoices accurately
- Educate clients about preventive care, products, and services
- Support our veterinary team by keeping the front desk running smoothly
- Handle stressful situations with empathy, tact, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma (college degree preferred)
- Strong customer service experience (veterinary or medical setting preferred but not required)
- Comfortable with computers and adapting to software (experience with Avimark practice management system preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Team-oriented, positive, and compassionate
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Genuine love for animals and their people

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (no weekends—our clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays).
