The position requires an experienced Sterile Processing Tech. Travelers must commit to working weekends, every fourth weekend. The role does not require on-call responsibilities. Floating between facilities is not expected. Candidates should have skills in various sterilization techniques and equipment. Knowledge of effective decontamination practices is essential. Travelers are expected to adhere to all safety and procedural guidelines. Must possess strong organizational skills for instrument preparation and assembly. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care is necessary. Compliance with all infection control procedures is mandatory. Competency in using sterilization tracking systems is required. Candidates must have experience with both manual and automated cleaning processes. The role may involve exposure to a variety of surgical instruments and procedures. Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating within the team. Must be adaptable to changing priorities and work assignments.
