What You Do Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas, equipment and content protection Provide direction to subcontractors Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use Interface with customers and relay information to Project Director or Superintendent when appropriate Complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into database as needed Complete punch list items with attention to detail Maintain equipment in clean and working condition Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle Monitor the safety, security and appearance of job sites Assist with demolition and general clean up as needed What You Bring Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience Hands‑on experience in drywall, paint, trim and carpentry High school diploma or GED required Understanding of major trades processes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Willingness to be flexible based on business needs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment Proficient use of computer technology Proficiency in light carpentry, framing, drywall, paint, trim and all aspects of repair common with handyman work Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships Valid driver's license Why Join Kustom A Culture That Wins Together – Teamwork, integrity, and a growth mindset define us Competitive Comp Program – Weekly base pay plus quarterly commission structure Total Rewards Benefits – Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more Real Career Growth – Training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities to move into roles across the company Who We Are Founded in 1968, Kustom has spent decades earning a stellar reputation as a nationally acclaimed, industry‑leading property restoration firm.
