Required qualifications include active RN licensure, experience in progressive care or step-down units, and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must hold current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Recommended skills include strong cardiac monitoring abilities, adaptability, and experience with post-cardiac procedure care.
