Join The Goddard School of Woodbury as a Bus Driver, where you play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our School-Age students to/from their elementary schools and field trips. We are seeking a friendly and responsible individual to help create a positive experience for our students and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport children to and from their elementary school.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist children in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Monitor student behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment during transit.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with no driving violations within the last 3 years.
• Experience driving a bus or similar vehicle preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Must pass a background check and medical examination.
• First Aid and CPR certification (we will provide if necessary).
• Flexible schedule to accommodate route hours.
• Passion for working with children and contributing to their safety and well-being.
• The ability to work both inside and outside the school.
• The ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
